In the Beginning

It is generally accepted as fact, that the Participants in the American Revolution were white Europeans, mostly from Northern Europe. Actually, the people who brought about the greatest social and political event in our World’s history, namely establishing the American nation (based on the central idea of Liberty for the common Man) were from all over Europe and the world.

And the American Revolution wasn’t the beginning of establishing Liberty for “We, the People”. It was the culmination of a learning process that took 100 years, and was led by “people of the cloth”, religious people, especially the circuit ministers who travelled up and down the 13 colonies and out into the wilderness preaching individual freedom and individual responsibility. During those years and into the time of the Revolution, men and women, immigrants and native born, from every religion committed themselves to the cause of Liberty.

Their work and their sacrifice set the path for us. We Patriots have an obligation to keep faith with those generations who came before us and an obligation to maintain the Greatness of America, for all the generations who come after us.

We will write about the individual patriots , men and women, rich and poor, Christian and non-Christian, what, black and brown in future commentaries.
